General Grand Encampment of Knights Templar
U.S.A and All Dependencies
Welcome to the General Grand Encampment Website
The General Grand Encampment of Knights Templar is based on the Christian-oriented fraternal organization that was founded in the 11th century. In the beginning, the Knights Templar protected and defended Christians travelling to Jerusalem. These “warrior monks” took vows of poverty, chastity and obedience and were well known for being fierce and courageous warriors in battle.
In modern times the Knights Templar display their courage and goodwill in various ways. They organize fund-raising activities, support Masonic and non-Masonic related charities and education.
Knights Templar membership consists of men of integrity, courage, obedience and a fundamental belief in Christianity.
